e così si comincia

Barely three months from now we depart for the trip of a lifetime.

We have spent the last few months fare-watching, which resulted in some stressful moments when the airfare increased to 150% of the best I'd seen, as well as one Saturday morning when was I elated when I thought I'd found a tremendous bargain, only to realize that I had forgotten to account for one of the children!

Last week I booked our flight (PHL to FCO on US Airways turned out to be a much better value than flying Alitalia from EWR) for our stay at L'Antica Vetreria  and are re-energized to plan our trip.  While my blogging has been, at best irregular of late, in the next three months I hope to post news and links about our trip, and to be able to share stories and photos while we are in Italy.
